Hi Friends!

Welcome to my first post and welcome to my life.

If you were searching for some witty commentary then grab a seat, an avocado and get ready; and if you just stumbled on this page, stick around! Hopefully the situations I run into a lot of the time will amuse you.

I've always wanted to create some sort of blog and now that I've found myself talking to my cat and dog day after day, my best friend and my brother are forming some weird relationship and the fact that I'm so bored that I joined a gym...I figured it was time for a hobby. I've always enjoyed writing ever since I could remember (I even have little stories that I wrote as a kid, got bored with and then wrote "the end" just to wrap them up - but I promise I will try to not do that here). This kind of hobby seems like a perfect fit!

So a bit about me then..hmm..let's see...

I am born and raised in a small town in Ontario, Canada and I have always loved the small town feel. I actually got the same feeling when I started looking at universities and ended up falling in love with Wilfrid Laurier University's Brantford campus and I have never regretted my decision. I've had so many opportunities there and met some amazing friends that I like to call "my people".

I am also the youngest of three and grew up being very close with my older brothers and my parents. Tight knit I guess even though there were, and sometimes still are, a few fights here and there. Our lives are kind of all in different places right now but we all stick together and that won't be going anywhere anytime soon.

Most of the time I find myself daydreaming about the future and wondering what country I will be visiting next, so taking time to stop and reflect on the kinds of silly situations that I always seem to run into sounds like a good idea. Existing as I am and not anticipating what situation I'll run into next is my new goal. Stick around kids for a knee slapping good time and a few little insights as I try to navigate through this world.
